Dr. Jayashri J. is a dedicated and compassionate Consultant Proctologist and Surgeon with advanced training in the management of anorectal and colorectal disorders. She completed her Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery (B.A.M.S.) from Shree Jayendra Saraswathi Ayurveda College & Hospital, Chennai, where she graduated as the Second Rank Holder and was honoured with the Jivaka Award for academic excellence. She further completed her Master of Surgery (M.S.) from Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Ayurveda & Research Centre, Pune, graduating as the First Rank Holder, reflecting her exceptional academic performance and commitment to surgical excellence.
Following her postgraduate training, Dr. Jayashri was associated with leading proctology and surgical centres, where she gained extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of piles, fissures, fistula, and other colorectal disorders. She has received comprehensive hands-on training in proctology and anorectal surgery and is proficient in performing a range of minor proctology and day-care surgical procedures independently, while also managing patient evaluation, treatment planning, wound care, and post-operative follow-up.
